Her busy cosmopolitan, social schedule meant that she did not have time for her art. It was at a difficult time in her life, that Magdolna Ban found her way back to her original artistic passion:painting. It was there that she began with infinite love and detail to depict her Hungarian childhood memories. Using the disciplines of her through artistic training and her own particular poetic stile, a rural Hungary now vanished.

As the nineteen eighties came to a close Magdolna started to move away from her acclaimed simple lyrical stile and ventured into a deeper powerful and surreal world of expression. Working on an eclectic collection of topics she felt strongly and passionately about. A panoply of ardent, thoroughly provoking works relating the consequential subjects of nature conservancy, literature, music and the reflection on the human condition as a whole.

Life has come full circle. MB has returned to her roots. She is inspired by nature and the beauty of the region surrounding her and has taken up painting again.
